Available on World Autism Awareness Day, April 2
World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) is observed every year on April 2, in order to raise public awareness of autism. It was adopted by the United Nations in 2007 to shine a bright light on autism as a growing global health crisis.
On World Autism Awareness Day, Through Words Publishing, LLC will launch their newest book: It’s Going to Be AUlright, a collection of stories written by twelve mothers whose children are on the spectrum. The collaborative book anthology was created to provide a platform for parents of loved ones on the autism spectrum as well as encourage readers. The book is made up of stories, advice, and resources based on spectrum diagnoses from high functioning to non-verbal.
